2021’s Spotify Wrapped is here, and users of the streaming platform have been preoccupied with sharing their own personal audio statistics for the year.
But that’s not all Wrapped has uncovered—you can also view the most-streamed artists from countries globally, and that includes Malaysia.

It comes as no surprise that internationally renowned k-pop group BTS has topped the Malaysian chart, with their albums BE and Love Yourself 結 'Answer' coming in as third and fifth most-streamed respectively. Their song ‘Butter’ also takes the spot as the most played in the country.
BANDWAGON TV
Justin Bieber came just below them, with his latest album ‘Justice’ holding the title of second most-streamed. This is followed by Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande whose albums may not have made the list but are still the third and fourth most-streamed artists.
At number 5 is Olivia Rodrigo whose album ‘SOUR’ clinched the top spot, and track drivers license the third.
Other notable artists who have made it onto Malaysia’s list include Doja Cat, Giveon, Pink Sweat$, and The Kid LAROI.
