BTS' RM took to Weverse slightly after midnight (4/11 KST) to share a long heartfelt letter with ARMY (fans of BTS).

Before community platform apps, K-pop acts would communicate with their fans using online forums called Fancafe. From short Tweet-like queries like J-hope's "What did you guys eat this morning?" to thought-provoking essays by RM, the BTS Fancafe was a space for all sorts of notes and updates for ARMY.

Photo uploads on Twitter (like RM's Namjooning posts) and Weverse comments have now been the norm, so a Fancafe-like post is a rarity these days.

On 4 November, RM shared his gift of words and wrote an introspective letter for himself and ARMY. "I just want everyone I love to be at peace for as long as possible."

According to fan translations by @minimoniT_T, RM shares how writing has been getting "harder" and he feels that if he doesn't write, he'll "forever forget the way to do it." He also reveals that he's been keeping a diary, but didn't want to write with a pen so he wrote it on Weverse instead. Giving fans a glimpse into his thoughts and feelings, RM writes "I too, for so long, longed and search for peace and stability but can't seem to erase that people, no - perhaps even myself - wanted some kind of drama... I start being anxious even at the slightest bit of stability."

Looking back on his old Fancafe posts, he shares "Why do my words - the beginning and endings - always have such a similar expression. I miss you a lot, and I am thinking of you often."

RM ends his letter with "When the wind becomes warmer, let’s meet soon—wherever that place may be. Unchangingly, as I have always done, I will continue to make music, reflect on my mind and body every day and just wait. Hehe. I miss you!"
