This year has been full of conversations and Twitter is here to recap it all. 

On 9 December, Twitter Korea has revealed the most talked-about artists and topics, which include K-pop acts and K-dramas, of 2021.

BTS continue their reign, becoming the most talked-about person for five consecutive years. The GRAMMY-nominated group also earned the World's Most Retweeted Tweet and second Most Liked Tweet of 2021 for their #StopAsianHate statement that had over 998,000 retweets.

The 'Butter' act are also this year's most talked-about K-pop act worldwide, followed by NCT units NCT DREAM for their album Hot Sauce, and NCT 127 for Sticker. 

Also making onto Twitter's Top K-pop Artists Worldwide are EXO, BLACKPINK, TREASURE, ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, TXT, ATEEZ, and Stray Kids. 

Squid Game also comes out on top, as the third-most talked-about show right behind Big Brother Brasil and Jujutsu Kaisen. BTS' reality-variety show In The Soop also makes it onto the list at No. 8.

On the K-drama front, suspense-drama Penthouse comes as the most talked-about Korean series beating shows such as Happiness and Sisyphus: The Myth.
