Not a stranger to breaking and making records with his bandmates in BTS, V broke 2 world records on Instagram this week according to Guinness World Records.

Kim Taehyung, who goes by his stage name V, broke the record for being the fastest account to reach 1 million followers. The feat took only 43 minutes after it was revealed that all seven BTS members have launched their official individual Instagram accounts.

In 4 hours 52 minutes, V broke another world record for the fastest time to reach 10 million followers on Instagram. As of press time, V has 25.5 million followers, with whom he shares snippets of his daily life, vacation snaps, unreleased tracks (most recent drop is a bop, trust us), and his adorable pet dog, Yeontan.

BTS recently wrapped up their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts in LA and are currently on an "extended period of rest," as well as taking this time to focus on their upcoming in-person concert in Seoul, Korea, and to prepare for the release of their new album.
