An urgent fundraiser has been launched to help cover the expenses of medical treatment required by budots pioneer Sherwin Tuna, better known to many as DJ Love.
Filipino artist obese.dogma777 started a GoGetFunding page for the beloved dance music figure in the hopes of raising enough for “urgent and specialised medical attention”, including heart surgery and post-op treatment.

DJ Love has been in a public hospital in Davao for over three weeks now. Unfortunately, "no clear diagnosis or real progress has been made," obese.dogma777 wrote. "Despite all the tests and evaluations, we remain without answers. His condition remains uncertain."
The crowdfunding campaign aims to raise ₱1.2 million (£16,500), which would allow DJ Love to be moved to a “better facility where he can receive immediate and prioritised medical care”.

Rewards for donations include a budots producer pack featuring drums, samples, loops, and more selected by DJ Love and obese.dogma777, or a pack of “rare DJ Love budots nonstop mixes”.
"With his birthday fast approaching, the greatest gift we can give is the chance for him to return to the music, community and people he loves," obese.dogma777 states. "Let's come together and make this happen.
