Singaporean post-hardcore heroes Caracal have lifted the lid on Daily Essentials, a series of shindigs that will spotlight alternative music of an uncompromisingly heavy bent.

The first edition will unfold this July and besides Caracal, will feature five seminal bands it has crossed paths with since its inception: Singaporean stoner metal quartet Marijannah, Singaporean metal/hardcore trio HRVST, Filipino alt-rock legends Typecast, Filipino metalcore veterans Valley of Chrome and Japanese alt-rock stalwarts Nothing to Declare.

Besides the all-ages live performances, Daily Essentials will also include with food, beverages and art.

Daily Essentials happens on Sunday, 21 July, at the Esplanade Annexe Studio, from 5.30pm onwards. Tickets, $26 (limited early bird) and $32 (standard) are available here.
