It's been five years since Carly Rae Jepsen released her critically acclaimed album, EMOTION.

To celebrate, the pop singer is throwing a karaoke party for all her fans on August 27 at 6 PM EST (August 28, 5 AM TH/ID Standard Time; 6 AM SG/PH/MY Standard Time). Jepsen asked fans to send in their videos singing and dancing along to their favorite tracks from the album, "I'd love to see videos of you singing your favorite EMOTION songs. Dance, dress up, & sing your heart out!"

Jepsen also unveiled special anniversary merch, including t-shirts (25 USD), a beach towel (30 USD), a fanny pack (22 USD), and every '90s girl staple, a scrunchie (7 USD). The limited-edition colored vinyl (30 USD) is slated for release on October 23, 2020. Pre-order here.

Graphic designer Kel Lauren, who has also worked on the merch of the likes of BTS, the Jonas Brothers, and Madonna, shared her new tracklist design for the EMOTION anniversary collection.

Designer and photographer Julia Fletcher, who designed the EMOTION beach towel, shared that she's a fan of the album and has many memories attached to the music.

In a tweet, Jepsen replied "Ok" to a fan asking for bonus tracks 'Love Again' and 'Never Get To Hold You' to be available on streaming services. The tracks are now included in the digital versions of the EMOTION's deluxe expanded edition.
