Cheats have joined the Island Records Philippines family.

On Tuesday (09/07), Island Records Philippines announced that the Filipino rock act has signed with the label.

Cheats previously signed with Offshore Music in 2019. They released their first Tagalog single 'Tawid' in February. Cheats members Saab Magalona-Bacarro and Jim Bacarro recently launched their own kids' music channel Puddy Rock, which features original music and classic nursery rhymes in English and Filipino.

UMG Philippines (formerly MCA Universal) launched Island Records Philippines in 2020. Their roster includes the likes of Juan Karlos, Over October, Zack Tabudlo, Fern., Ciudad, Us-2 Evil-0, and One Click Straight.
