20th May has long been regarded as a day of love and romance due to the Chinese pronunciation of “520” sounding similar to “I love you” in the language. In celebration of this special day, Asian-American singer-songwriter, Cindy Zhang, teamed up with Korean indie hitmaker, LambC, for a tender release. 

Led by the soothing and melancholic styles of the two musicians, the bedroom pop song portrays an almost awkward and unspoken atmosphere between two almost-lovers, resulting in them feeling worlds apart despite being right next to the other. 

Naming the ‘Love Like This’ R&B artist as someone she has always wanted to collaborate with, this track also marks Cindy Zhang’s first collaboration of 2022, following closely behind last year’s ‘Hourglass’ which she dropped with Ashley Alisha.
