Clockenflap completes 2024 lineup with Central Cee, BANKS, Wisp & more

Clockenflap, Hong Kong's premier music and arts festival, has revealed the final lineup for its 2024 edition, scheduled from 29 November to 1 December at the iconic Central Harbourfront. Alongside previously announced acts like Jack White, AIR, St. Vincent, and Glass Animals, the festival has added an exciting array of international, regional, and local talent to the bill, delivering one of its most eclectic lineups to date.

Headlining Saturday’s festivities will be British rap sensation Central Cee, who has made waves globally with hits such as ‘Doja’ and ‘Sprinter'. With more than 4 billion streams on Spotify, Central Cee’s performance is one of the most anticipated sets of the festival.

Joining him on the newly announced roster is alt-R&B singer BANKS, known for her haunting vocals and atmospheric soundscapes, making her Clockenflap debut. Serrini, a much-loved Hong Kong singer-songwriter, will also grace the stage on Saturday, offering her witty and soulful melodies.

The Black Skirts, the indie-rock project fronted by South Korean singer-songwriter Jo Hyu-il, brings their unique blend of melancholic lyrics and vibrant instrumentals to the festival. Another international addition is Wisp, the Californian shoegaze artist better known as Natalie R. Lu, who will captivate the audience with her dreamy, guitar-laden sound.

From Taiwan, Clockenflap has added Mandopop singer-songwriter Misi Ke, known for her melodic and heartfelt tunes, while Hiperson, the post-punk indie rockers from Chengdu, will showcase their dynamic sound, blending thoughtful lyrics with powerful instrumentals.

Also on the list is Filipino-Japanese singer-songwriter ena mori, who is gaining attention for her innovative approach to pop music. Adding even more diversity to the lineup is the Japanese collective TURTLE ISLAND, a group that fuses traditional minyo music with modern genres like punk and psychedelic rock, promising a vibrant and high-energy performance.
