Experimental indie folk singer-songwriter and cellist, Coeli has just finished shooting her new music video - to be released next month. In collaboration with Risen Collective, Coeli will be hosting the  crowdfunding pre-show for the "Magkaibigan o Magka-ibigan" video at NOVA Gallery in Makati on June 11, 2016. 

We asked the singer-songwriter to share with us what "Magkaibigan o Magka-ibigan" is all about.

Coeli: "Magkaibigan o Magka-ibigan" is a song that expresses the fear of loving again or the fear of love itself.  In the song you find two people who are aware that they are fond of each other, but are afraid to take it a step further.

"Takot na magmahal muli, baka masakit, hirap mag-isip/ Takot na mawala ang lahat, parehong nag-aalangan magsalita"

Coeli: The song itself leaves you hanging as it questions the situation, 

"E bakit pa ba tayo malilito at mawawala, kung iisa lang naman ang pupuntahan? /Pareho nating alam, isa yan sa dalawa - Magkaibigan o Magka-ibigan"
