The results are in for DJ Mag's coveted list of the Top 100 DJs for 2024. As always, the rankings were determined by electronic music fans around world, with this year's poll garnering a record number of votes.
Notably, there was a large increase in votes from North America this year, with the continent seeing a vote share increase of 18%. Asia, South America and Europe make up the next 3 regions attracting the most votes.
The list was topped by Martin Garrix who secured his fifth victory. The Dutch DJ now ties fellow countryman Armin van Buuren for the highest number of No. 1 DJ wins. Garrix was crowned at the Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) last weekend, held at the Johan Cruyff ArenA. The awards show is available to watch here.

“I’m on the list with all my idols,” Garrix said. “I look up to Armin, I look up to Tiësto. To be in there with those guys is very surreal. My biggest worry when I entered the list, and topped [it], was that it could only go downhill from here, so it’s very special we’re back at the No.1 spot.”
Excitingly, Peggy Gou once again placed in the Top 10, becoming the higest ranked Asian DJ on the list this year, coming in at #10. 2024 has seen the South Korean superstar release her acclaimed album I Hear You, which features hits such as ‘(It Goes Like) Nanana’, ‘I Believe In Love Again’ (featuring Lenny Kravitz), ‘1+1=1’, ‘Lobster Telephone’ and ‘Find The Way’.

Beyond productions, Gou continued to headline festivals worldwide, playing Coachella, Primavera, and Glastonbury — where Sophie Ellis Bextor joined the DJ to perform her cult classic ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’, providing the world’s most famous festival with one of 2024’s viral moments. She also recently played in MARQUEE Singapore this past July to a massive sold-out crowd.
