Elise Huang goes back to her childhood as she shares her own take on Passage's 'You Won't See Me Crying.'
Originally sung and performed in 1995 by her mom, Luchie Huang, with her band Passage, the new rendition made its live debut at Island Records' Nomad Music Fest last weekend. The mother and daughter tandem shared the stage for the very first time, marking an important milestone in both of their musical journeys.
About a month ago, we made a rendition of You Won’t See Me Crying. This song was released in 1995, by my mom and her band, Passage.

I grew up listening and watching my mom. Today I sang this on stage with her, for the very first time. pic.twitter.com/hn5sH5uZqi
In an Instagram post, Elise writes "From “I wanna be like you when I grow up” to performing with you on stage years later with the same song was a dream to me, mom. Thank you for everything. I love you."
