Ena Mori is back with a fresh new drop.

This time, the hyperpop act is teaming up with Japanese producer Tomggg. Titled 'ICHIGO MIRUKU,' the collaboration is distinctly half-ena and half-Tomggg, with the playroom pop producer's beats and the singer-songwriter's lyrics.

In a message to Bandwagon, Tomggg shares how he found ena's 'FALL INLOVE!' on Spotify and thought "This song is awesome!". A fan of Tomggg's work, the Filipino-Japanese artist reveals how she was "really excited" when the Unbalance act's team reached out for a collaboration. "We talked via Twitter DM," Tomggg adds.

"He has this unique Harajuku candy pop style that is so distinct, and I wanted to emplify that uniqueness through songwriting," Ena reveals. The artist, who primarily sings in English, adds that it was her first time to write "a lot of Japanese lyrics" and that it pushed her out of her comfort zone.

The collaboration marks the follow-up to Ena's critically acclaimed sophomore album, DON'T BLAME THE WILD ONE!. It's also Tomgg's first release since 2022's 'it's okay!!': " I was able to make bright and fun music after a long time."

Tomggg hopes that fans "enjoy the mixed Japanese and English lyrics and harmonies that Ena Mori sings" and exclaims that "We got the best song".

The Offshore Music artist recently returned from the States after performing at SXSW's first-ever all-Asian showcase at the festival, Tiger Den. Curated by Korean musical collective Balming Tiger, Ena "still can't believe that it actually happened" and calls it a "once in a life time experience". "It was interesting to see people from different cultures and music came together into this one big party. It was definitely inspiring."
