ENHYPEN fans are calling for respect and professionalism after the K-pop group's security checks at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
On 6 February, videos surfaced of a NAIA employee frisking the members and gesturing for them to pull down their face masks as they go through security checks, allegedly neglecting the airport’s no-contact security check policy. Many fans have slammed the staff for being unprofessional and have called on the Manila International Airport Authority for an official statement.

These airport staffs from NAIA are very unprofessional they did nothing but ruin the image of the Philippines for the boys from arrival to departure. This issue needs to be addressed asap, like seriously they never learn at all. https://t.co/1l7lsEhC5e

The Office of Transportation Security are also investigating the matter and, in a statement released via Facebook on 6 February, shared that they will "impose appropriate administrative sanctions, should it be necessary".
"The management is currently investigating the matter to determine the extent of violation committed based on existing rules and security screening protocols if any, and impose appropriate administrative sanctions, should it be necessary," the Office of Transportation Security wrote. "While we understand the excitement brought about by the presence of these Korean artists, we remind not only our personnel, but all airport users, that unauthorized filming at our security screening checkpoints is not allowed as a matter of policy."
As of publishing, the Manila International Airport Authority have not issued a statement.
ENHYPEN just concluded the Asia leg of their MANIFESTO tour with a sold-out three-night residency at Manila's SM Mall Of Asia Arena. This comes as the group's first major concert debut in the Philippines.
