The GRAMMY Award-winning pop singer just dropped her sixth studio record, Positions, which follows her chart-topping record thank u, next. The 14-track offering is packed with soulful, stuck-in-your-head tunes and collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, The Weeknd, and Doja Cat.
"This project is my favorite for many reasons and i really can’t wait for it to be yours. thank u for your love and excitement, it means the world to me," Grande tweeted ahead of the album's release.

It's coming this October
Last week (10/14), Ariana Grande woke up the world with an announcement that dropped out of nowhere: "i can't wait to give u my album this month," she tweeted.

More recently, Grande posted a link leading to her official website, which opens to two countdowns to what presumably could be release dates for Positions, one on October 23 and the other on October 30.

It will be called Positions
Grande made her single and album title reveal via Instagram and Twitter on Saturday (10/17), typing out P-O-S-I-T-I-O-N-S on a green-lit keyboard.

The upcoming release follows Grande's fifth studio record thank u next, her quarantine single with Justin Bieber 'Stuck with U,' and her collaborative track with Lady Gaga 'Rain On Me.' Grande won VMAs for both collaborations in August.

The album includes 14 new tracks
On Saturday (10/24), Grande shared the full tracklist of Positions, which includes 14 tracks and collaborations with Doja Cat, The Weeknd and Ty Dolla $ign.

Following the reveal, Grande confesses that she doesn't have a "top three or anything" from the upcoming album. "this project is my favorite for many reasons and i really can’t wait for it to be yours. thank u for your love and excitement, it means the world to me," she tweets.
