Chanyeol has been loitering around the Among Us servers. 

Last week, the main rapper of multi-awarded K-Pop group EXO invited fans to play Among Us, an online multiplayer game where players have to identify "Impostors" in their crew and for impostors to eliminate the "Crewmates" without being detected. Chanyeol goes by his producer name LOEY in the game.

The Game Awards executive producer and host, Geoff Keighley, took to Twitter to express his excitement about the recent rise of Among Us.

In a tweet, he writes, "Love seeing the success/emergence of Among Us -- an indie game released 2 years ago, now with 300k peak players on Steam and at the top of Twitch most watched today. Maybe it will even get nominations at Game Awards? This industry keeps evolving in such interesting ways!"

EXO Twitter fan account EXOPublicity was quick to point out that its success was partly thanks to Chanyeol, who introduced the indie game to his thousands of fans across the globe.

EXO released their sixth studio album Obsession in November last year, which has earned them Album of the Year at the Gaon Chart Music Awards 2020.
