The wait for FAKY's first full-length album is over.

Titled "F", the highly anticipated record from the Japanese girl group was released via Avex Entertainment on Tuesday, 18 October (PHT/SGT)

Described as a "treasure chest full of FAKY up until now", the album comprises a diverse mix of tracks that showcase the quintet's versatility.

Included on the 17-track F are familiar tunes that were released as singles over the last few years — such as 'half-moon', 'little more', and 'ANTIDOTE' as well as newer ones such as 'Diamond Glitter', 'Choco Fudge', and 'My Story'

Penned by FAKY's Lil' Fang, 'My Story', which was unveiled just days before the album's launch, is a heartbreak anthem that explores what it is like to experience unrequited love.

An accompanying music video for the track will be released via the group's official YouTube channel at 5 PM on 19 October.

Made up of Lil' Fang, Mikako, Hina, Akina, and Taki, FAKY have been pushing the envelope for J-pop since they burst onto the scene in 2013. In a 2021 interview with Bandwagon, the group spoke about exploring different musical styles and embracing their individuality.
