Michael Alba is opening a new music school in Texas.

The influential Filipino drummer and member of 4-piece funk-fusion band Yosha has announced that he's offering music courses at his new school Alba International Music Academy. Together with his business partner Jazuon Lagasca, online courses will begin this December and physical classes in January 2022 in Texas.

According to Alba, they are currently finalizing the website for AIM Academy to offer students and music lovers from across the globe the convenience of signing up for courses.

Prior to opening Alba International Music Academy, the drummer taught music through the Michael Alba Drum Program. Together with JB Music, he has held Drum Masterclasses to aspiring Filipino drummers. He has also worked with the likes of Rico Blanco, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Lani Misalucha, KZ Tandingan, and Bruno Mars and is a Zildjian endorser.
