The worlds of symphony orchestras and film are coming together in the Philippines.

On 22 May (Wednesday), Film Concerts PH announced its launch as it aims to mount immersive film screenings, where symphony orchestras perform live, to combine both worlds and elevate the entertainment landcape in the country.

Founded by Mikhail Schemm, former co-founder and managing director of CC:Concepts, Film Concerts PH will announce its inaugural shows by the end of May 2024. A diverse lineup of events that feature cult movie series, video game music, and anime will be revealed soon.

The company is also collaborating with renowned Philippine conductor Gerard Salonga, who will be conducting select events, with his own Filharmonika Orchestra.
