In three days, 2017 Pride March & Festival shall once again bring members of the LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and others) community and their allies in and around Metro Manila together, in celebration of identity and love. Through the theme #HereTogether, the Metro Manila Pride organizers aim to raise even more awareness and support for the growing safe spaces the community offers, as a testament to everyone's dedication to create, move, and see the realization of plans and policies concerning LGBT+ from various backgrounds.
Joining 2017 Pride as performers are garage punk quartet Flying Ipis, indie folk rock artist TheSunManager, ethnic jazz musician Ja Quintana, violinist Matthew Chang, singer and actor Phi Palmos, and former The Voice semi-finalist Rita Martinez. Other acts in the pre-march and post-march programs include drag performers, poets, and dancers. DJ Julianna Force and DJ Madamme (aka Thysz Estrada) of Today x Future are set to close the night.
