Diving into the month of March, K-pop stans are spoilt for a choice with news of fan-favourite names like Red Velvet, NCT Dream, Stray Kids, Brave Girls and even K-indie artist, Seori all geared for new music releases! 

With a vast number of comebacks this month, we narrowed down 20 K-pop acts to keep a lookout for. Multifandom stans, this one’s for you!


Ailee 

Release Date: 7th March 2022

Vocal powerhouse Ailee is set to release a full English album that concludes her previous no-skip releases, I’M’, ‘LOVIN’ and AMY

UP10TION’s Kim Wooseok 

Release Date: 7th March 2022 

UP10TION’s Kim Wooseok is ramping up for his solo comeback on the first half of March. The teaser video is filled with motifs of butterflies and cotton-candy clouds, perhaps signifying Wooseok expanding into the ‘dreamy’ concept, to follow after his release of TASTY last year. 


Weeekly 

Release Date: 7th March 2022 

The seven-membered girl group presents themselves in a fiery and dramatic manner in the ‘VEN PARA’ music video teaser, the title song for their first-ever single album. Street Woman Fighter fans can also anticipate the fierce choreography done by YGX's own Yeojin


Sunmi

Release Date: 8th March 2022

Queen of addictive choreography, Sunmi, hypes up fans for her upcoming comeback with photos of her in an iridescent dress. This release also collaborates with Spotify, fuelling fans’ curiosity on the final outcome of this project. 


P1Harmony 

Release Date: 10th March 2022 

The ‘Do It Like This’ hitmakers dropped a teaser for the English release of the same song to kick off the month with the members donned in a cohesive purple and white wardrobe. 


WINNER’s Kang Seungyoon 

Release Date: 14th March 2022

With lyrics written and co-composed by TREASURE member Yedam, fans on Twitter are expressing high expectations for the Superstar K 2 Alum's release of his upcoming digital single 'Born to Love You'. 


Brave Girls 

Release Date: 14th March 2022

To start off the month, a cryptic teaser was dropped by their label depicting six chairs that many fans speculate reference the original number of members in Brave Girls. More details are to be unveiled soon!


(G)-IDLE 

Release Date: 14th March 2022

This comeback marks the first after their long hiatus since over a year ago. The teasers show the members with their own girl-crush take on Purge-inspired masks, signalling a badass concept from the girl group. 


NU’EST 

Release Date: 15th March 2022 

Most recently, PLEDIS Entertainment announced the disbandment of the ‘INSIDE OUT’ act, much to fans’ dismay. Said to be a compilation album of the group's greatest hits, NEEDLE & BUBBLE would be fans’ last chance to see the team share the stage. 


ASTRO’s Moonbin and Sanha 

Release Date: 15th March 2022

After their pre-release single ‘Ghost Town’ last February, the beloved duo from popular band ASTRO are slated to drop their highly anticipated sophomore mini-album following their debut record IN-OUT in 2020.


MONSTA X’s Kihyun

Release Date: 15th March 2022 

The release marks sentimental vocalist of MONSTA X, Kihyun, and his debut as a solo artist outside of his group activities. Having lent his voice to many popular K-drama OSTs like ‘The Tiger Moth’ for ‘Shopping King Louis’ and ‘Love Together’ for ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?’, fans are anticipating what the singer has in store for them as a soloist. 


JYJ’s Junsu 

Release Date: 16th March 2022

From starting his own entertainment company PALMTREE ISLAND to actively participating as a musical actor, being recently cast in the Musical Adaptation of Death Note, this 3rd mini-album would mark Junsu’s first return as a K-pop Veteran in over a year. 


WEi 

Release Date: 16th March 2022

Returning 9 months after their last release, Rookie group WEi, consisting of Jang Daehyeon, Kim Donghan, Yoo Yongha, Kang Seokhwa, Kim Junseo and Kim Yohan, are slated for their comeback on the 16th of this month. 


MAMAMOO’s Solar

Release Date: 16th March 2022

Sporting 9 beauty marks on her face (we counted!), the beagle-like songstress dropped the teaser for her upcoming solo comeback FACE on 27 February and has since released her tracklist and comeback schedule. 


KINGDOM 

Release Date: 17th March 2022  

Not to be confused with the hit drama or K-pop survival competition in 2021 with the same name, KINGDOM debuted in February 2021 with a unique concept of having each member “represent a different king in history”. Following the team’s period royalty direction, this comeback features many oriental embellishments on its teaser photo. 


Stray Kids

Release Date: 18th March 2022

Stray Kidstrailer takes a more narrative approach, telling a story that guarantees thrill and adrenaline with its ‘Missing Person’ posters with the members’ faces appearing on them. 


Red Velvet

Release Date: 21st March 2022 

Likely in reference to 2019’s wildly popular trilogy ‘ReVe Festival’, Red Velvet announced their return with a similarly mysterious teaser video on the 2nd of March, with eagle-eyed fans noticing the numerous easter eggs within it!


CRAVITY 

Release Date: 22nd March 2022

 The budding boy group has always taken part in the writing of their songs’ lyrics and the upcoming comeback is no different. Showing fans their diversity and strengths as musicians, the comeback title track ‘Adrenaline’ features rap lines written by members Serim and Allen.


Seori 

Release Date: 22nd March 2022

Rising hot topic Seori hypes up fans for the drop of her 5th digital single ‘Can’t Stop this Party’, slated for release on the 22nd of this month. 


NCT Dream 

Release Date: 28th March 2022

Though details have yet to be fully released on the team’s new direction with their 2nd album, their label ambitiously promises a ‘heralded unstoppable popularity’ for them in 2022, assuring fans a comeback to be anticipated.
