(G)I-DLE to release first English single 'I DO' via Cube Entertainment and 88rising this July

(G)I-DLE are returning with new music. 

On 11 July, American music company 88rising uploaded a teaser video for the K-pop girl group's first English single to its official social media channels. Titled 'I DO', the song, together with its official music video, will be launched at 8 PM ET on 13 July and 9 AM KST on 14 July.

Featuring the 'Queencard' act's five members, Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, the teaser gives fans a peek at the concept for (G)I-DLE's next comeback and reveals that the track is a collaboration between 88rising and South Korean entertainment agency Cube Entertainment.

'I DO' will serve as a pre-release track from (G)I-DLE's forthcoming first full-English EP HEAT. Co-executive produced by 88rising, the project is scheduled to be unveiled at 8 PM ET on 7 September.

[UPDATE: 18 August]: According to an announcement made today, 88rising shared that the release of HEAT will be delayed to 6 October,. 9 AM KST. 

Fans can pre-save 'I DO' on digital streaming platforms here and begin pre-ordering HEAT as soon as the single is released. 

The announcement of the team-up between 88rising and Cube Entertainment comes half a year after (G)I-DLE's performance at the former's Head In The Clouds Jakarta festival, which also featured artists such as Jackson Wang, NIKI, Joji, Rich Brian, CHUNG HA, and BIBI.
