AI metaverse company Galaxy Corporation was part of in President Yoon Suk Yeol’s state visit economic delegation to the Philippines and Singapore from 6 to 11 October. On the afternoon of 8 October, at the Korea-Singapore Business Forum held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Singapore, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AEG Presents (Anschutz Entertainment Group) forging a strategic partnership for touring and live events.
The forum was hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and the Singapore Business Federation (SBFP). Attendees included Galaxy Corporation’s CEO Choi Yong-ho and Adam Wilkes, President and CEO, AEG Asia Pacific.
Galaxy Corporation, the first AI metaverse company in Korea based on global super IPs, has produced worldwide known content and made headlines last December by recruiting G-Dragon, leader of the group BIGBANG.
AEG is a leader in live events and sports. The company is owner of the Los Angeles Galaxy, a professional U.S. soccer team, operates major arenas around the world (including Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, London’s O2 Arena, the Mercedes Platz in Berlin, and the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai), and is a global leader in live tours and festivals (The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Stagecoach, BST Hyde Park, among others). AEG owns or operates more than 20 of the top 100 arenas by ticket sales globally.

By signing the MOU, Galaxy Corporation and AEG aim to strategically collaborate on the global expansion of the K-pop industry and the advancement of entertainment technology.
Choi Yong-ho, who also joined President Yoon’s state visit to Saudi Arabia and Qatar last October as the youngest member of the economic delegation, expressed the significance of the MOU, stating, “We plan to advance entertainment by incorporating technologies such as AI, AR, mixed reality, and robotics into ‘entertaintech,’ providing audiences with new performance experiences and supporting the discovery and growth of new artists for the sustainable development of the K-pop industry.”
Adam Wilkes, President and CEO, AEG Asia Pacific, added, “I’m excited to enter into this partnership with Galaxy Corporation, and looking forward to what our collaboration will bring to artists and audiences alike. We both share a commitment to building a platform that allows K-pop artists to continue thriving on the global stage.”
