BigHit Music just announced that BTS member Jin is currently resting and in recovery after undergoing surgery yesterday (18/3).

In a statement on Weverse, the label revealed that the 'Super Tuna' hitmaker injured his index finger on Friday, and visited the hospital for treatment. The doctors advised that Jin undergo surgery on the same day to "repair the extensor in his left index finger." According to his doctors, the surgery went well and Jin was discharged from the hospital today (19/3).

The 'Epiphany' singer, who, together with the rest of BTS just wrapped up a three-night sold-out residency at Jamsil Olympic Stadium last week, will focus on rest and recovery in the days to come.

We would like to provide you with some information regarding BTS member Jin’s finger injury. 

Jin injured his left index finger during his daily activities and visited the emergency room at a hospital nearby for examination and treatment on Friday, March 18. He consulted doctors and was told he required surgery as the tendons in the finger had been partially damaged. He underwent surgery to repair the extensor in his left index finger on the afternoon of Friday, March 18. 

The surgery went well according to the doctors. Jin was discharged from the hospital on the morning of Saturday, March 19 and has been resting. He will wear a cast for the time being for stabilization and a speedy recovery. 
 
Jin will focus on rest and treatment to fully recover from the injury and to resume his activities in good health. 

We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Jin, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists.

ARMYs (fans of BTS) quickly took to Twitter to send messages of love and well-wishes for the Silver Voice vocalist.

BTS are set to perform at the 64th GRAMMY Awards this April, where they are also nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for 'Butter'. The award-winning global superstars will also be performing at their 4-night sold-out residency at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
