(G)I-DLE have returned with a brand new single!

Titled 'Last Dance', the track, which was released at 6 PM KST on 29 April, is the South Korean girl group's first release since they unveiled English and Mandarin versions of their song 'HWAA' in late January. The group had released their fourth mini-album I burn earlier that month.

Produced by DJ, producing, and composing duo GroovyRoom (comprised of Park Gyu-jung and Lee Hwi-min), 'Last Dance', is the first song that (G)I-DLE has recorded for NCSOFT's online global fan community platform UNIVERSE since joining it in late 2020. It is also the fourth single to be released under the "UNIVERSE MUSIC" banner, which also houses original music from IZ*ONE, Sumi Jo, and Park Ji-hoon.

Accompanying the single's release was a music video that premiered on the UNIVERSE app, which is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. As previously teased in the prologue film "THE WITCH QUEEN", the visually stunning video follows (G)I-DLE as they embark on a search for an elusive individual known as "The Queen".

Aside from recording 'Last Dance', the group have also participated in other activities as UNIVERSE members, such as performing at the UNI-KON online concert and hosting their own radio show called "Not That Close".
