Fledgling starlets KATSEYE garnered a lot of attention as the first-ever "global girl group" forged using K-pop artist development methodologies. Formed on the reality show, Dream Academy, the group consists of six members - Lara (USA), Sophia (Philippines), Daniela (USA), Yoonchae (South Korea), Megan (USA, Singaporean-Chinese), and Manon (Switzerland).

Today, the sextet drops their highly anticpated debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) via HYBE and Geffen Records. The title not only reflects one of their core beliefes, but it also nods to the sisterhood they’ve forged despite coming from different cultures.

Earlier this month, the group performed their track 'Touch' on Good Morning America, and they're also set to perform their aptly titled first single 'Debut' on GMA3 this coming Thursday, 22 August. The 5-track EP also includes piano ballad 'My Way', produced by HYBE founder bang, Slow Rabbit and Federico Vindver, the uplifting 'I’m Pretty', and electro-dance number 'Tonight I Might'

The group's strong rollout continues next week with the premiere of their Netflix docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE on 21 August. Directed by Nadia Hallgren, the show is a compelling portrayal of the members’ journey to global stardom, including insight into the unique training and development program from HYBE and Geffen Records.
