Good Vibes Festival will start processing refund requests this month.

In a statement, the Malaysia-based festival shared how they've been "working hard to develop a comprehensive refund plan that would accommodate all refund requests." The GVF 2023 refunds microsite is set to go live on 14 August 2023.

"It is important to present a refund mechanism that to help offset the costs many of you have faced. The mechanism is not perfect, and it may not satisfy everyone fully, but we hope you understand that we are trying to fairly compensate ticket holders as best as we can," Future Sound Asia wrote in an official statement.

GVF has shared various refund options for ticket holders – from partial refunds to converting your ticket for a #GVF2024 or #GVF2025 ticket. "If you can spare or defer any amount of your refund, it would greatly be appreciated and go a long way towards helping #SaveGVF," the organisers appealed to ticket holders.

Ticket holders can request for refunds from 14 August 2023 to 10 September 2023. Find out more here.

The 10th-anniversary edition of the Future Sound Asia-helmed event was originally scheduled to go on from 21-23 July at the Sepang International Circuit. UK act The 1975 wrapped up Day 1 of the festival with controversial remarks and actions that led to the eventual cancellation of the rest of the festival weekend.

Last week, the organisers held a press conference to "set the record straight" and shared how they "remain steadfast in our commitment to uphold the regulations and guidelines set by our authorities and to maintain the trust our community has placed in us." Future Sound Asia Founder and Director, Ben Law said: "We strive for a safer, more harmonious future for live music in Malaysia and we advocate for proportionate solutions that ensure safety and cultural sensitivity without hampering our thriving international events scene here in our beloved country," said Law.
