Starting out as a hip-hop concept album, Hamilton is a musical about the American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, based on Ron Chernow's eponymous novel. It is acclaimed for drawing heavily from genres not usually associated with Broadway, such as R&B and hip-hop, as well as casting non-white actors as iconic figures in the history of the United States.
Instructions on how to purchase tickets to the show are yet to be announced but fans are encouraged to sign up for the waitlist for pre-sale access. Sign up for the list here.
