The Globe pre-sale for Harry Styles' first Manila concert broke Coldplay's record of 6 minutes by selling out in "52 seconds". Today (6/19), fans of the One Direction member trooped to the nearest SM Tickets outlet and logged into the website to get their hands on at least 1 of the 8,000 tickets to be snapped up today. 

All 5 sections, including the 3 VIP Packages (with the most expensive one being 24,590 PHP, but none of which would entitle you to a meet-and-greet with the singer) were reportedly sold out by 3 PM, and fans have been expressing their joy (or dismay) online.

Our own editor had her own share of highs and lows during her quest for Harry Styles tickets, which included rushing to the mall only to find herself successfully booking a ticket online instead.

Musician Myrene Academia (who plays bass for Sandwich and Imago) shared the sentiments of Harry Styles fans as she attempted to book a ticket for her daughter.

There were also fans who went directly to SM Ticket outlets only to have the system crash on them as they were about to pay.

Harry Styles is set to embark on a full Asian tour with American indie rock band Warpaint next year, with stops in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, as well as a return visit to Singapore.
