Harry Styles is back with new music, and a record-breaking one at that.

On 1 April, the pop singer-songwriter unveiled 'As It Was,' the first single off his third studio album, Harry's House. A prelude to Styles' new era in music, the song also broke records, becoming the most-streamed song on Spotify in a single day in the US.

With 8.3 million streams in 24 hours, 'As It Was' overtakes Olivia Rodrigo's 'Driver's License,' which previously held the record at 8 million streams.

Styles' new track is also the most-streamed song in the world on Spotify In a single day for this year so far, earning 21.6 million streams. The new track also debuted on the global Spotify chart with 16.1 million streams, landing at number 2 after Adele's 'Easy On Me'.
