The Filipino-American singer recently shared how her "Tita Joanne" (Aunt Joanne) would react to her GRAMMY wins, in a video she posted on TikTok.

Almost immediately, the video was met with praises from the 'Better Than I Imagine' act's Filipino fans, many applauding H.E.R. for showcasing her Filipino roots.

This is the artist's second time at the GRAMMYS, winning Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance with Daniel Cesar in 2019. This year, H.E.R won Best R&B Song for 'Better Than I Imagine', and Song Of The Year for her protest anthem 'I Can't Breathe'.
Fresh off her GRAMMY wins, the singer-songwriter was also announced to have been nominated for an Oscar for her song 'Fight For You' from the movie, Judas and the Black Massiah.
