Here's how to get ready for BTS' SUGA's 'D-DAY' concerts in Singapore

Estimated:  reading

After going through an emotional rollercoaster that included anxiously waiting in virtual lines for tickets and feeling a sense of relief when an additional show was announced, it is finally time for ARMYs in Singapore to experienceย BTS' SUGA's D-DAY world tour.

Having already toured the United States and performed in cities such as Jakarta and Bangkok, the multihyphenate โ€” who also goes by AGUST D and is the first BTS member to embark on a solo tour โ€” will be stopping over in the Little Red Dot this weekend to thrill fans over three nights (16, 17, and 18 June) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.ย

As with all other concerts, guidelines need to be followed and route planning needs to be done beforehand to ensure that you have a smooth experience. As for the latter, fans will not have to worry about finding their way home or back to their accommodations after the concerts as they will not be affected by the previously announced platform closures along the Circle Line this weekend. With that out of the way, all that's left to do is to get yourself in the mood for D-DAY.

Here's a guide to what you can do in Singapore as you get ready to catch the 'Haegeum' act in the flesh.

STRIKE A POSE AT A PHOTOMATIC FAN EVENT

Organised to celebrate BTS' 10th anniversary as well as the Singapore leg of SUGA's D-Day tour, this event is not one to be missed. Pick out a concert outfit, grab a couple of friends, and head on over to One Click Studio at Haji Lane, where you will get to strike creative poses and bring home photos in attractive BTS-themed frames. The studio and photobooth will be available until 16 June while the photobooth without decor will be available until 24 June. Fans can select their packages and book their slots here.

FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH FAN PROJECTS

Besides screaming, cheering, and singing along to your favourite numbers at the top of your lungs, you can also show your love for SUGA by joining the thousands of fans in the Singapore Indoor Stadium as they welcome the rapper, songwriter, and producer to the Lion City with lovingly put together fan projects. In addition to the SDL and Snooze projects from the Jakarta leg of the tour, ARMYs in Singapore can also expect to participate in new ones โ€” SUGAPORE and AMYGDALA โ€” organised by Kookie Moon and BANGTANSG, respectively. If you haven't already done so, now is the time to familiarise yourself with all of them.

LOOK OUT FOR FAN SUPPORT ITEMS

For those in the K-pop community, concerts are also a time to collect unique little souvenirs (fan support items) created by like-minded individuals. If you browsed through Twitter right now, you would come across numerous posts by ARMYs who are hoping to share their creations โ€” ranging from fanmade photocards and stickers to keychains and magnets โ€” with others. These items are mostly available in limited quantities, so be sure to show up to the concert venue early if you would like to add them to your collection.ย
