Spanish indie rock band Hinds, on the back of their acclaimed debut Leave Me Alone, will be performing in Singapore for the first time in May.
The four-piece, all-female outfit has been making waves recently, due in part to their energetic performances and breezy, catchy songwriting — frequently compared to Mac Demarco and The Strokes.
Hailing from Madrid, the band were quickly picked up by US labels Burger Records and Mom + Pop Records and pushed out singles in the past year, among several tours which included shows in Thailand and Hong Kong. Leave Me Alone was officially released on January 8th.
Hinds will be performing in Singapore on May 11, with the venue yet to be confirmed. The show is presented by Hong Kong-based concert promoter Songs For Children, who were responsible for bringing acts like The Jesus And Mary Chain and Yuck to the country. This show will be the first show by the indie promoter in Singapore.
