"There’s so much amazing talent here in the region, and the world needs to take more notice. For Asian rap to go global, more alliances and collaborations between rappers from different markets are needed. ‘The Regionals’ is our way of showing everyone else what Asia has got," said Eddy Lim, Regional Director of HipHopDX Asia.

For its inaugural round of cyphers, the series will invite some of the best talents from Asia including the Philippines' Arhko, Jon Protégé, JRLDM, Loonie, and Mhot, Taiwan's Julia Wu, Karencici, Kumachan, and Nickthereal, and Vietnam's B-Wine, Blacka, Gonzo, and TLinh. Each episode, which has been divided based on territory, will feature beats from GRAMMY-Award winning producers !llmind, Hit-Boy, and 9th Wonder respectively.

The Regionals Philippines will premiere on 2 September followed by The Regionals Taiwan on 23 September and then The Regionals Vietnam on 30 September. Catch the first episode below.
