Last week, Vans and Bandwagon kicked off its hardcore-centric Spirit of DIY series with the first of three shows.
The second show in the series is set to take place next Friday, on 18 October, with Hollow Threat, False Plaintiff and Recover.
Hollow Threat continues the fly the flag for Singapore hardcore with its intensity and inventiveness. Melodic hardcore outfit False Plaintiff will be taking the stage to perform some of the cleaner tunes from the local hardcore scene, while OG hardcore band, Recover, closes out the show.
We sat down with False Plaintiff's Nicholas and Recover's Azfar – among others – to talk about the hardcore culture in Singapore.
