When we first received news HONNE were coming to Singapore, we knew that it was going to be a big deal, just based on their obvious talent and online hype. But oh boy, even we didn't expect their reception here to be this huge.

Their first show sold out within two weeks, prompting promoters Moonbeats Asia to announce a second date a change of venue to the Esplanade Annexe Studio. And wouldn't you know it, their second show sold out just as quick.

Bandwagon was lucky enough to catch the English electronic soul duo last weekend, and as much as we enjoy them on record, there's nothing quite like experiencing their magic live on stage, backed by a full band.

Charmingly minimalist yet sonically dynamic - we were struck by how their undeniably smooth electro-pop tunes retained a sense of romantic intimacy in such a large context, while still managing to rally crowds to dance and sing-along.
