The Visayas-Mindanao regions are in need of your help.
The Philippines was hit by Odette (international name Rai), one of the most terrifying typhoons that struck the country, a week before the Christmas holidays. It was the fifteenth tropical cyclone that hit the country this year as it ravaged through Siargao Island, Surigao, Cebu, Palawan, Dinagat Islands, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Southern Leyte, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and more.
At press time, the death toll is at 375, according to the PNP.
19 East is scheduled to hold another open-air gig on 29 December (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. featuring performances by Rico Blanco, Silent Sanctuary, True Faith, Electromagnetickombo, Monolog, and Eloisa. Entrance to the show is PHP 1,000 (non-consumable) and welcomes fully vaccinated guests at a first come, first served basis.

Local musicians are banding together to raise funds to help those affected by the typhoon through an online fundraiser gig called LOCALS FOR LOCALS. Organised by Raccoon Productions, the online benefit will feature performances by The Itchyworms, Sponge Cola, I Belong To The Zoo, Lola Amour, Clara Benin, Ysanygo, SUD, Nobita, One Click Straight, Mandaue Nights, Lions and Acrobats, and Pinkmen.
The concert will be happening via Zoom and require an entrance ticket priced at a minimum of PHP 150. Those interested in attending the virtual show can purchase tickets and donate through this link.
