HYBE has taken a leap into a "New Era" with its global music festival 2022 Weverse Con last weekend.

On 31 December (Friday), HYBE and its roster of artists, including Justin Bieber (who joined the concert virtually), BUMZU, DVWN, ENHYPEN, fromis_9, LEE HYUN, SEVENTEEN, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, took over the Korea International Exhibition Center in Ilsan for a special 230-minute concert that was hosted online and offline. The spotlight was also brought to a special tribute stage for legendary Korean musician Seo Taiji.

Fans from across 117 countries and regions tuned in to watch the show via VenewLive.

Revolving around the theme of "New Era', 2022 Weverse Con gave viewers a look into what they could look forward to as they create and welcome a new music paradigm together.

2022 Weverse Con opened with a stellar performance by 'Drunk-Dazed' act ENHYPEN on the Let's Live in the New Era stage. "We want to embrace the infinite possibilities in music and in our group, ENHYPEN, and seek out an answer of our own," the group says, describing the "New Era" as "infinity".

TOMORROW X TOGETHER, who performed their hits '0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)', 'Anti-Romantic', 'Frost', a mashup of 'No Rules' and 'Magic', and 'LO$ER=LO♡ER', reveal their take of "New Era" as "rise above". They say, "We will make our best efforts to become artists who can be unafraid at the face of anything and overcome new challenges to grow both personally and artistically."

For BUMZU, who opened his set with his latest offering 'JUST', "new generations are made through the small but meaningful events in our daily lives."

The "New Era" theme was also fitting for soloist LEE HYUN, who declares, "I will return with new music that embodies the touching sentiments I have received from everyone."

"I will continue my efforts to become an artist whose music can give comfort and hope to listeners," DVWN shares.

SEVENTEEN, who closed the concert, then expressed their gratitude toward their loyal followers. "A ‘New Era’ for SEVENTEEN is and always has been every moment we spend with our audiences. Power of Together. Being together is what makes SEVENTEEN."

After the performances, HYBE LABELS opened its New Year countdown on YouTube.

Weverse Con is set to return every year, featuring different themes artists and fans can celebrate together.
