Grammy Award-winning band Imagine Dragons and enigmatic Japanese singer Ado have teamed up to release a new version of the former's hit song 'Take Me to the Beach'.

This release is landmark collaboration between two bonafide global superstars. With cumulative sales of over 74 million album equivalents, 65 million digital songs and over 160 billions of total streams, Imagine Dragons is one of the biggest bands in the world. Meanwhile, Ado is one of the leading artists in Japan’s urban music scene, whose second world tour, Hibana 2025, is expected to attract over 500,000 attendees across more than 30 cities worldwide – making it one of the largest-scale tours ever by a Japanese artist.

Imagine Dragons has previously released their remix series of 'Take Me to the Beach' with other global artists like Ernia, Baker Boy and Jungeli. This collaboration is the fourth and the last of the series.

The original version is included in Imagine Dragons' sixth album LOOM. The song is about personal freedom and the search for a refuge away from social pressures. The chorus is an anthem that symbolizes the desire to escape to a place where you can find peace and tranquility. With Ado’s version, she sings in her versatile and unique vocal style, mixing soft and growling tones, emphasizing the meaning of the track.
