Leading independent DIY digital music distributor TuneCore expands its payment methods in Southeast Asia to better serve their growing artist base in the region. The company has launched localized payment methods via GCash in the Philippines, via Dana (GoPay coming soon) in Indonesia, via MoMo in Vietnam, and via China Union Pay in other non-US countries.

Despite expanding their presence in the last 18 months, though, TuneCore keeps focused on "not only offer[ing] best in class services on a worldwide level, the company also brings that same mindset to our local markets," according to CEO Andreea Gleeson

"For TuneCore artists, we not only want to support their artistry but we want to make it easy for them to distribute their music. Last year we launched the New Artist plan, which enables creators to release their music to social platforms for no upfront fee. Now with the launch of our expanded payment services, creators can access full distribution services seamlessly.” She adds in a press release.

Earlier this year, the music distributor launched a revolutionary pricing program that gives artists at any stage of their careers the opportunity for unlimited track and album release and distribution at a range of affordable prices: from no upfront cost (new artist), USD 14.99 (rising artist), USD 29.99 (breakout artist) to USD 49.99 (professional).
