IU's ending the year with a surprise for her fans.

On 22 December, 12 AM KST, the Hallyu star revealed a teaser and a release date for her December comeback. Out on 29 December, 6 PM KST, the upcoming compilation album is titled Pieces and follows the release of the romantic single 'strawberry moon'.

Ahead of the drop, IU shared a live clip of the pre-release track 'Next Stop'.

Earlier this year, the 'Celebrity' act, who recently scooped up numerous awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and Melon Music Awards, dropped her critically-acclaimed fifth studio album, LILAC.
