Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) 2020 brings a slightly different vibe this year with its programmes moving to digital platforms. Nonetheless, audiences can expect a plethora of offerings from performances to workshops by prominent figures in the local and international arts scene.

This month, Jacob Collier is set to return to the festival, after having played two sold-out shows during SIFA 2018. Sharing about creativity in music and his personal artistic journey, the Grammy winning multi-instrumentalist will be holding an online workshop from 8pm on 29 July. Fans would not want to miss out on this opportunity to interact with Collier outside of the concert hall.

Tickets for Collier's workshop are priced at $15 and they are available from SIFA's website.

Join musicians performing from local baroque ensemble Red Dot Baroque for an introductory performance of their curated playlist for SIFA 2020. By integrating period instruments in their performances, Red Dot Baroque strives to enchant their audience with the true spirit of Baroque music. The ensemble had presented several local shows since their sold out debut in 2018, and have collaborated with instrumentalists from The Netherlands for their Malaysia tour last year. From 12pm on Monday 27 July, watch their performance here on SIFA's website.

For film lovers, check out a series of vodcasts by SOURCE x Audible Lands. The project was launched by Experimental band The Observatory and filmmaker Eric Lee, in collaboration with music groups from the migrant workers community. Released fortnightly, the fourth vodcast will drop on 6 July here. In the meantime, check out the eclectic mix of genres inspired by Southeast Asian folk music in their previous vodcasts.
