'JAM OFF 2024' the ultimate cross-culture extravaganza debuts in Singapore

The much-anticipated JAM OFF 2024, an ultimate cross-cultural festival, will be making its international debut in Singapore from 11 to 15 September. A part of the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) 2024, JAM OFF will bring together top local and regional artists, creating a vibrant fusion of music, dance, and street culture that will light up Somerset Belt. The event, supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), aims to celebrate the dynamic exchange between Singapore and Hong Kong, China, during the race season.

Set amidst the bustling Orchard Road, JAM OFF will breathe new life into key landmarks such as Youth Park, 111 Somerset, Skate Park, and *SCAPE, transforming them into hubs of activity. With its diverse program of performances, F&B, and fashion pop-ups, the festival is poised to rejuvenate Somerset Belt, reinforcing Orchard Road’s position as a must-visit lifestyle destination for locals and tourists alike.

Evette Chan, Event Director of Destinations Network Tourism and Leisure Marketing Ltd., expressed excitement for JAM OFF’s debut, highlighting its connection to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2024. “JAM OFF will showcase race-themed experiences and street culture through music, dance performances, and pop-ups. It’s an opportunity to tap into the buzz of the race season and showcase a dynamic celebration of culture,” said Chan.

BANDWAGON TV

From 13 to 15 September, Youth Park will become a hotspot for non-stop entertainment with over 20 hours of performances by leading artists from mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Featured performers include Pakho Chau, Supper Moment, Yan Ting, Liu Lian, Ramengvrl, Yung Raja, RRILEY and more, with DJ sets from renowned names like DJ Cyrus and DJ Shai.

For aspiring performers, the JAM OFF VOICE competition, a blind audition contest  udged by Singaporean artistes Olivia Ong, Hong Junyang and Indonesian rapper Kenz, will take place from 11 to 12 September at Skate Park, offering a chance for local talent to shine on the big stage. Dance lovers can also enjoy electrifying battles at JAM OFF BEATS, where top dance crews like Radikal Forze Jam (RF JAM), Break 2 Prove and TJDJAM will compete for top honours, adding to the dynamic cultural offerings.

Fans of Pakho Chau and Supper Moment will be in for a treat, with exclusive meet-and-greet events scheduled for 14 September at *SCAPE, giving attendees the opportunity to get up close with their favorite stars. The festival will also showcase trendy street fashion, including a special pop-up by singer-actor Pakho Chau’s streetwear brand, XPX by PUNKHIPPIE, at 111 Somerset.

Gastronomic delights will be on offer at Skate Park throughout the festival, with a range of specially curated fusion F&B options. Visitors can enjoy these culinary treats while being entertained by buskers from Hong Kong and Singapore.
