The Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival is back.

One of the largest music festivals in the world, the festival is happening on 2-4 June 2023 at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta. It will feature musicians not just from Indonesia, but from all around the world as well.

Performing at the event are The Chicago Experience feat. Danny Seraphine & Jeff Coffey.

GRAMMY-nominated guitarist and composer Cory Wong will also be performing. Joining him are MAX, Ginger Root, Jazzmeia Horn, Jesus Molina, José James, Makaya McCraven, Mario Biondi, Matt Johnson, Nate Smith + Kinfolk, Peter Cincotti, Workshy, Stacey Ryan, and Sezairi.

Completing the Phase One line-up are Indonesian musicians Alonzo Brata, Deredia, Jordan Susanto, Manna Trio, Nial Djuliarso, Nona Ria Feat Tetty Kady, Oslo Ibrahim, Paul Partohap, Romantic Echoes, Sequioa Project, Titi DJ.

“We have several special collaboration programs planned. Many collaborations will take place between singers from non-jazz music genres who will perform jazz on stage and will be shown exclusively at the BNI Java Jazz Festival. What are the collaborative initiatives? Let us just wait and see what the surprise is." stated Dewi Gontha, Main Director of PT. Java Festival Productions, in a press release.

With the theme "Let Music Lead Your Memories," Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival aims to provide a musical experience where attendees can create new memories while reminiscing on old ones at the same time. The festival will feature 11 stages and at least three shows per day on each stage.
