“With this song 'ALL IN,' I wanted to say to make sure you give it your all - whether you win or lose, you'll have no regrets," explained Park on the single’s message in a press release. "I'm always trying to explore new boundaries, and it's a privilege to be able to do it with Gen.G.”
A big Korean hip-hop fan himself, Arnold Hur, Gen.G’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), expressed his pleasure to collaborate with one of Korea's biggest hip-hop icons, as well as pH-1 and GroovyRoom.
Park spent time with the team to get to learn more about them, their passion for gaming, and their desire to compete on an international stage to get inspiration for the single, which earned praise from Hur himself on Park's work ethic.
“When we had an opportunity to meet Jay, our entire team was both shocked and appreciative of how much time Jay spent understanding what makes our players tick and showing them so much respect for their passion," recounted Hur in a press release.
Coinciding with the single release, the video is directed by THECUT Studio and it will highlight the teams' challenges of being in the limelight.
Park recently released ‘SUMMERIDE’ back in April this year. In the same month, his feature on Charli XCX’s ‘Unlock It’ went viral on TikTok, and soundtracked more than two million videos on the platform.
