This morning, tickets to two of JJ Lin's four Singapore concerts on his Sanctuary Tour in August went on sale. An hour ago, the Singapore Sports Hub announced that they had sold out.
After two initial concert dates – 18 and 19 August – sold out, Lin added two additional shows on 15 and 16 August. Now those have been fully snapped up as well, with the craze for tickets reaching a fever pitch on some secondary ticketing websites.
A quick survey of Stubhub shows that tickets for all four dates are going for at least S$300, with prices hitting as high as S$6,000. There is one astronomically high listing for the 16 August show with a price of – take a breath – just under S$28,000. For context, the most expensive ticket category had a price tag of S$348.
