JOOX is rolling out a new feature that lets fans cheer for their favourite music acts from wherever they are in the world.

Titled Superstars Fans Pick, the new feature allows fans to vote for their favourite idols by listening to their songs, sending gifts, and more. Daily and weekly top artists will have a splash banner on JOOX's homepage, while top fans will be awarded badges alongside their screen name.

The new feature also comes in tandem with JOOX's Artist Room. Similar to that of an Instagram Live, Artist Room allows the top 200 regional artists to create live rooms where their fans can come together to listen to their hit songs. Artists will also be able to interact directly with their fans and host listening parties.

JOOX's new features come on the heels of their live social audio app ROOMS, which they launched last June. ROOMS is one of the app's most popular features to date, with dozens of users-initiated ROOMS garnering thousands of listeners across the region. 

In the app's new update, they have also optimised ROOMS' current features, now allowing hosts to invite co-hosts and speakers, and ask listeners for their song requests.
