Twitter also revealed the most-talked-about K-pop acts which global pop group BTS topped the list. Tweets about the 'Butter' act's LA concerts alone totalled over 68 million. Rounding out the top 5 are NCT, ENHYPEN, EXO, and BLACKPINK.
ENHYPEN also top the list of rising K-pop acts that continued to gain momentum on Twitter, alongside TXT, TREASURE, aespa, and ITZY.
In an interview with YeonJeong Kim, Twitter's Head of Global K-pop and K-Content Partnerships, she shared how Twitter has helped newer K-pop acts achieve global notability. "It became natural for fourth-generation acts to open an account on Twitter before their debut. It gives the fans the opportunity to share in the growth of the artist," YeonJeong said.
