“This song in particular is about that,” the band shares, “the successive experiences of loss and the constant curse of trying to accept the situation we find ourselves in.”
Alongside the single release, KANA has teased an upcoming music video directed by Neil Nanta, featuring a familiar face from the Cebuano cult film Superpsychocebu. The full video premieres a week after the song’s release, but lucky fans at the 'Leave It to the Moon' launch party on 5 April at Unity Coffee & Vinyl will get an exclusive first look. The event will also feature performances from Sad Day Assistance, Wijikun, bedtime television, and Deanery.
‘Leave It to the Moon’ marks KANA’s first release under Melt Records and sets the stage for their much-anticipated debut album.
